It's great to see you this morning, Oshi and thanks for considering TD Bank for your banking needs.
Before we start, we'd like to share with you the many different types of accounts TD Bank has to offer. We invite you to take a look at our many different types of Checking accounts here: http://bit.ly/1aDaRqd or check out our Checking Selector Tool here http://bit.ly/KmmHe7 for help choosing a Checking account that is the best fit you. At TD Bank, we also offer Savings Accounts for all of your saving needs! We recommend taking a look at http://bit.ly/1pJT9I9 for more detailed information on each particular Savings Account available. You may find it helpful to check out our customized Savings Selector Tool, found here: http://bit.ly/1hXi2wF.
Once you have decided the best account that fits both of your banking needs, to open a joint account, we ask that you and your son visit a TD Store during lobby hours together. Please be sure to bring your photo IDs, such as a Driver's License, State ID and/ or a US passport and Social Security numbers with you. To find a TD Bank near you, please visit: http://bit.ly/TDStores.
If both parties are unable to visit a Store to open the joint account at the same time, you have the option of opening an individual account for now then adding your son as a joint signer by visiting a TD Store once both of you are available. To open an individual account, you may open the account Online by selecting the "Open Account" box located beneath each individual account, call us at 1-888-751-9000 to speak with a Banking Specialist, available 24/7 or at any of your local TD Bank Store during normal hours.
In order to receive a wire transfer in a joint account, as long as the name provided by the sender matches the name on the account, along with other correct account info such as the account number, routing number, etc., there should be no problem when receiving the transfer.
Hope this helps answer your question and have a nice day.
