Good day, Robert. Welcome to TD Helps and we're happy to respond.
As you mentioned that you have a TD 50 Plus Checking account and if this check in question is drawn on TD Bank, it can be cashed at any TD Bank location with your valid photo ID as long as the check issuer has sufficient funds in their account to cover this item. To find out TD store locations near you, please visit, http://bit.ly/TDStores.
Please keep in mind that if the check is not drawn on TD Bank, it can still be cashed at any TD Bank location with your valid photo ID as long as you have sufficient funds in your TD account to cover the amount of the check.
If you do not have sufficient funds in your TD account to cover the amount of the check you wish to cash, you always have the options to deposit this check into your TD account. We invite you to look at our Personal Deposit Account Agreement here: http://bit.ly/1kb17UQ . On pages 38-41 you can find our Funds Availability Policy along with information about when you'll have access to deposits.
Just in case that you're planning to write a check against your own TD 50 Plus Checking account and then cash it, please know that the limit is based on the available balance on your TD account at the time this check is presented for payment.
If you have any additional questions, please feel free to reach out to our Banking Specialists 24/7 at 888-751-9000. Or you may speak with a Store Representative while you're there.
Let us know if you have any other questions. We hope you have a nice day, Robert!
