Prior to your visit, we recommend you give a call to the location you chose and that you allow two business days to go by before going to pick up the currency ordered.
Please understand, the currency rate it subject to change daily and you may obtain the current exchange rate is by our TD International Services at 888-BNG-INTL (888-264-4685) or you can send them an email by visiting here: http://bit.ly/1pvwJIu. If you need to call us while you're outside the United States you may do so by dialing 856-751-9000 or collect with operator's assistance from a land line phone by asking the operator to dial 215-569-0518.
If you plan on using your TD Visa debit card while you're in Japan, you can notify us with by sending us a Secure Message through your Online Banking account if you're currently enrolled. To send a Secure Message, please log into your account and click on the Customer Service tab and then select Send a Message. If you choose this option, please include the exact travel dates, destinations and if there will be any connecting flight locations if applicable. If you have personal TD accounts and are signed up for our Retail Online Banking, please click here http://bit.ly/1eaISlq. If you are a TD Bank BusinessDirect user, please direct your browser to http://bit.ly/1rvBmq8.
If you are not currently enrolled for Online Banking and wish to enroll your personal accounts, you may use our self-service option by visiting http://bit.ly/1lU2qfY to begin the process. In order to do so, you will need your account number, TD Bank ATM/Debit card, your Social Security number and your email address. Once at the page, please select "Personal" from the drop down box. When you select continue, you will have to read and accept the Online Banking Service Agreement. Then you will be asked to enter your personal information including the items mentioned earlier and to create a user name and password. Finally you will be asked to create three security questions. When you finish the enrollment process, you will have immediate access to your account(s).
If you do not have the required information to set up for Online Banking or you need assistance enrolling, you may contact us 24/7 at 888-751-9000 to speak with a Banking Specialist. Upon proper account verification, we would be happy to help get you started or set up the travel note with you on the phone. You may also set up the travel note when you visit the local TD Bank location to purchase your foreign currency.
