At this time, to activate your new TD Debit or ATM Card, we ask that you call 888-553-4122. Our activation line is available to you, 24/7, and when calling, please be sure to have your TD Card handy.
Please note, at this time, we do not offer the option to activate your TD Debit Card via online and apologize for the inconvenience.
If you experience any difficulties with the activation line, don't worry. You may call us, 24/7, at 888-751-9000, or visit a TD Store during lobby hours. Good morning, George, and thanks for joining in on the conversation today!
We have multiple options to obtain a new debit card, and you're welcome to choose which ever option is most convenient for your needs!
You may first connect with one of our Banking Specialists, who are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, by dialing 888-751-9000. A new debit card will be shipped to you within 7-10 business days with standard shipping, or 2-3 business days via FedEx. You will need to activate your card upon receipt by dialing the toll free number listed on the new card.
You would also have the option of requesting a debit card by sending us a Secure Message right from your Online Banking. To send a secure message, you must first logon to your TD Bank online profile. You may do so by clicking here: https://go.td.com/1eaISlq. On the left hand side, you should see an option to 'Send a secure message' located in the 'Message Center.' In your message, please be sure to include the address where you wish to receive your Debit Card, as well as your request to have your card expedited.
If you would prefer not to wait for your debit card to be mailed, all our TD Store location have instant issue machines, and you'll be able to leave with a debit card in your hand that same day! To take a look at Store locations and their hours, please visit http://go.td.com/1f9DSJR.
