If you are still interested in closing your account and as you mentioned that the account is already at zero balance, you may call us at 888-751-9000 to have it closed. We're available here 24/7 if you can't make it into a Store location to close your account. Also, you're more than welcome to send us a Secure Message via your Online Banking profile by logging in here http://bit.ly/1eaISlq and looking to the Message Center on the left-hand side. You'll find a link to 'Send a Message' there, where you can submit your request. Please be sure to specify the account number you wish to close if you choose this method.
If you have a Business account with us that you'd like to close, this request must be completed at a TD Bank Store location.
