Welcome to TD Helps, Andrea. We're sorry to hear that you're having trouble logging in and we'd be happy to help you change your password.
If you are unable to log in to your account online, it's very easy to change your password. You can reset it through the following link: http://bit.ly/1eaISlq. Then, follow the "Trouble Logging In" link below the pssword field on the login page. After selecting what type of account you have, you can enter your uer name and the last 4 digits of your Social Security number (or Tax I.D. number if a business). You will then be asked to answer two of your security questions before you are able to create a new password.
While creating your new password, please remember the following tips:
-Use a combination of numbers, letters and special characters, but no spaces.
-Your password should be unique – memorize it and do not disclose it to anyone.
-Avoid using names, dates, or numbers tied to your identity (such as birthday, family name, pets, street, etc.).
-Use a password that differs from your other banking, email, and social media accounts.
-Change your password frequently to prevent unauthorized access.
If you have any trouble with these steps or are unsure of what your current username is, we ask that you reach us directly 24/7 at 888-751-9000 (or 800-493-7562, Option 2 if you have a Business Direct account) or you can always stop by your local TD Bank Store during lobby hours. For Store hours and locations near you please visit here: http://bit.ly/TDStores.
We hope this helps, Andrea and have a great day.
