Thanks for your question, Thanida. We'd be glad to help.
In order to avoid interruptions to your debit card, we recommend that you place a Travel Notification on your account. Usually, you can do so by calling our 24/7 at 888-751-9000 or visiting your local TD Bank Store. If you're currently not located in the United States, you can certainly call us abroad. You can add a Travel Notification by calling us 24/7 at 1-856-751-9000. Additionally, you can call collect from a landline at 1-215-569-0518.
If you're enrolled in Online Banking, another option would be to send a secure message using www.tdbank.com and request the Travel Notification be added to your account. To send a secure message you must first login to your TD Bank online profile. You can do so by clicking here: http://bit.ly/1eaISlq. On the left hand side, you should see and option to "Send a secure message" located in the “Message Center.” In your message, please include the dates and destination(s) you will be traveling.
By placing a Travel Notification, this will help us be aware if we see foreign transactions on your account. Also, please be informed that for your protection we will continue to monitor your card activity even when a notification is set. We also recommend carrying more than one method of payment while traveling, just in case you encounter any acceptance issues.
