Thank you for stopping by TD Helps, Tekia! We'll be glad to provide the ways that you can change your account type.
We'd like to begin by stating you can change your account type over the telephone, visiting one of our Stores or through online banking. For example, if you have a TD Convenience checking account and you'd like to change it to a TD Simple Checking account, you are free to do so. However, if you are trying to change a checking account to a savings account or vice versa, you'd need to open a new account. Give us a call 24/7 at 888-751-9000 or click here: http://bit.ly/TDStores to find a TD Bank near you. Once our Banking Specialists verify your account information, they'll be able to change your account type for you. If you're enrolled in online banking, you can send us a secured message.
If you're not currently enrolled for Online Banking, you may do so by clicking here: http://bit.ly/1lU2qfY . Please have your account number, debit card number and Social Security number available. If you have any trouble signing up, please contact our Banking Specialists, 24/7 at the telephone number listed above. To send a secured message, please sign into your account and select "Send a message"; which is located underneath the Message Center on the left hand side of the page. If you choose to send us a secured message, please include your account number in your message.
Hope this information is helpful and free to come by any time you have a question, Tekia! Take care and have a great week.
