Thank you for considering another account with TD Bank, Chris.
If your charged off account has been paid in full, you're more than welcome to start a new account wish us. If you currently still owe money on your charged off account, we recommend paying off the overdrawn balance first prior opening your new account.
If you need to obtain the exact amount owed, please connect with our Recovery Department Team at 800-742-2651, available Monday through Friday 8:00 AM – 9:00 PM and Saturday 8:00 AM -5:00 PM. Once you are on the phone with them, they can confirm the exact amount you owed and also provide you with payment options. You may also obtain the same information by visiting us at any TD Store during lobby hours. To find a TD Store near you, please check out: http://bit.ly/TDStores.
After your previous account is paid off, you're more than welcome to open a new account with us. For information on the current Checking accounts TD Bank offers, please take a look here: http://bit.ly/1aDaRqd or check out our Checking Selector Tool http://bit.ly/1vW1xnU for help with selecting a Checking account that is the best fit you. To view and compare personal Savings account products, click on http://bit.ly/1pJT9I9 , or if you prefer, we also have a Savings Selector Tool http://bit.ly/1vW1DvM ;which can help you choose the best Savings account for your needs.
Once you've decided on the best account for your banking needs, you can open the account via the telephone at 1-888-751-9000, available 24/7; you may open the account online by selecting the "Open Account" box located beneath each specific account type, or at any TD Store during lobby hours. You will need to bring a valid photo I.D. (Driver's License, Passport, Military I.D. etc.) and Social Security number.
If you have any other questions, please do not hesitate to ask! Chris, have a great afternoon!
