I am issued a new debit card, but someone remits money to my old debit card, will the money still go into my current account or the money will be refunded to that person's account?

Thanks for stopping by TD Helps with your question, Zhe! We'd be glad to help.
We're happy to inform you that even when a debit card is closed, it does still allow for credits to be received. As long as the account that the debit card was previously linked to is still open, you should receive your refund with no problem!
If the account that your debit card was linked to has since been closed, don't worry. The credit should still be able to come through and we can simply redirect it to an open account or have a check mailed to you. Just give us a call at 888-751-9000, Monday through Friday from 7:30AM to 5:00PM and we'll reach out to our Debit Card Operations Department on your behalf to locate the credit.
We hope this helps settle any of your concerns, Zhe. If you have any additional questions, please don't hesitate to give us a call 24/7 at 888-751-9000 or stop in to see us at any of our Stores. To find one near you, please click here: https://go.td.com/1nq31dc.
We hope you're having a great day!
