Hi I just opened an debit card account and put 800 dollar in to it but now when I log in it says that it's 0 dollar on the account why is it so? And how long would it take before I can use my money that I put in? Because I need them this weekend!

Thanks for coming by TD Helps with your question, Matilda! We'd like to welcome you to the TD Family and we'll be happy to go over information regarding deposit availability.
If it is cash that is deposited into your account at a TD Bank location during lobby hours, the funds would be available immediately. If the deposit consists of a combination of cash and checks, we will make all of the cash and the first $100.00 available of the check(s) immediately. Usually, when you deposit a check at TD Bank, the first $100 is made available immediately. The rest of the funds are generally credited to your account on the following business day.
Please note that when you are a new account holder and your account has not yet been open for 30 consecutive days, check deposits can be held for up to 7 business days for verification purposes. After these 30 days, you can expect that your account will be provided the standard funds availability mentioned earlier.
If you made a cash deposit through the ATM it will be available instantly. If you made a check deposit and you have had your account open longer than 90 days, the first $100 dollars is credited immediately while the remainder of your deposit will be applied to the balance on the following business day. If your account has been open less than 90 days there will be nothing available immediately. Unlike the ATM, the Mobile Deposit feature does not credit any funds initially. The funds will be credited on the following business day.
Please keep in mind, if you make a deposit at TD Bank before 8:00 PM on a business day, it would be considered a deposit on that business day. A business day is every day except Saturdays, Sundays, and federal holidays. For weekend deposits, this usually means that the deposit will be considered Monday's deposit and will post to your account at the earliest on Tuesday.
We invite you to look at our Personal Deposit Account Agreement here: http://bit.ly/1kb17UQ, which can explain our deposit availability policy in full detail for you. Please see pages 38-41, where you can find our Funds Availability Policy specifically the Special Rules for New Accounts along with information about when you'll have access to deposits.
Feel free to contact us at your convenience 24/7 at 888-751-9000 if you have any further questions. Or, you're more than welcome at any local TD Bank Store; please see http://bit.ly/TDStores to find a location near you.
If you have any questions, please let us know, Matilda and have a great day!

Welcome to the TD Helps Community, Anthony!
If you've recently opened a new savings account, this would generally be available to view online 1-2 business days after opening.
If you're not yet able to view your new account and this time frame has passed, usually we can fix this issue quickly and easily for you. If this is the case, please contact a Banking Specialist so that we can add the account to your online view. We can be reached 24/7 at 888-751-9000.
If you prefer to stop in, you're welcome at any nearby TD Bank Store location where a Representative can also assist you. Please see http://go.td.com/1f9DSJR for your closest Store and lobby hours.
Thanks for joining us, Anthony and please take care!
