Thanks for stopping by today, Eugene!
As you know, we've made some changes to what characters can be used in usernames and passwords and we'd be more than happy to go over those requirements with you!
Going forward, the following characters will not be allowed for passwords and usernames:
/ \ ( ) % - ; | # + = @
The good news is that there will still be some allowable characters! If you need to update your user name or password, it may include letters, numbers, an underscore (_), or a period (.).
When you're ready to change your password, simply log into your Personal Online Banking by clicking here: https://go.td.com/1eaISlq. Once you have logged in, select the 'Customer Service' tab, which you can find on the upper, right hand side of your screen. Then, under 'Update Profile and Preferences', select 'Password'. You'll be asked to first enter your current password and then your new password twice. All the new requirements will be right there for you to see.
If you have any difficulty or additional questions, please don't hesitate to reach out to us! A Banking Specialist can be reached by simply calling 1-888-751-9000. For your convenience, we're available to help 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Additionally, you're also welcome to visit a TD Store location during lobby hours to speak with a Customer Service Representative. To take a look at Store locations and their hours, please visit http://go.td.com/1f9DSJR.
We hope you enjoy all the new changes we have coming to make your online banking experience even better!
Have a great day, Eugene!
