Hello. The information for the TD Preferred Savings account indicates non-TD ATM fees are waived if the account has a minimum daily balance of $2.500. Is this $2.500 minimum balance required for the Preferred Savings, or for the linked checking account? Thank you.

We apologize for any confusion you may be experiencing, and we'll be happy to help.
Here at TD Bank, some of our accounts do offer Non-TD ATM fee waivers, and we're happy to announce that our TD Preferred Savings account is one of them! When an account, such as the TD Preferred Savings, has this waiver in place, any Non-TD ATM fees will be waived at the end of that accounts statements period as long as the minimum daily balance is met.
While this waiver will unfortunately not be linked to any additional accounts you may have with TD Bank, it's important to note that some of our Checking accounts also have this feature, and if you'd like to learn more, we invite you to check out the link here: https://go.td.com/2eQORxu. Once you've successfully logged in, towards the right hand side of your screen, you should see a 'Your Secure Messages' section. To send a message, simply click 'Send us a secure message.'
If you have downloaded our mobile banking app for your smartphone, you may also use this method to send a secure message. From your Mobile Banking, log in and select 'Send a Secure Message' from the side Menu. We generally respond within 24 hours or less.
