I live in NY and 3 other co-founders and I want to open a bank account. What do we need? We recently submitted our paperwork to the State and received notice that we are now incorporated. We recently obtain an EIN.

It sounds like your business account is going to have multiple signers, be sure to bring them with you for the account opening process. Those who are going to be signers on the account need to bring the following documents: a valid photo I.D. (Driver's License, Passport, Military I.D. etc.) and Social Security number. For a non-resident alien opening a business account, you will need two valid forms of ID and a W-8Ben must be completed during the account opening process. Also, be sure to bring the Tax Identification number for your business.
We would also need to verify the status of the Non-Profit Organization. Please bring in the following documents to your local TD Store: a 5013-C form that you would've received from the IRS when granted the Not-for-Profit status, and the separate Tax Identification Number given to Non-Profit Organizations when initially applying for that status. Please note, a Social Security number cannot be accepted instead of a Tax Identification number.
Also, if your Non-Profit Organization is also incorporated (which it sounds like it is), please include the additional following information: State Website Report, Filed or Certified Business Formation Documents, or Certificate of Good Standing/Existence. Additionally, you will need to bring the Corporate Resolution documents. If your Non-Profit Organization is not incorporated, no additional documentation is required for this account type.
We hope that this is helpful to you and have a wonderful day.
