Thanks for your question, Benassi. We're sorry to hear that you've encountered an acceptance issue and we'd be glad to point you in the right direction.
Often times, acceptance issues encountered while abroad are due to the lack of Travel Notifications placed on your account. To review this with a Specialist, we ask that you contact us directly for assistance.
You are able to call us from overseas by dialing 856-751-9000 or 215-569-0518 collect from a land line telephone. Once speaking with a Specialist, they will be glad to review your debit card and add a Travel Notification during your call.
You are also able to send a secure message via Online Banking for help. To send a secure message you must first logon to your TD Bank online profile. You can do so by clicking here: http://go.td.com/1eaISlq. On the left hand side, you should see an option to "Send a secure message" located in the “Message Center." In your message be sure to include details about your concerns and the dates/destinations of your trip so we may update your account.
Please know that we would like to assist you directly however, TD Helps is considered an unsecured forum and we do not have access to your account/personal information.
We hope to hear from you soon, Benassi, and have a good day.
