Hello, I had a withdraw from my bill payment that was deducted from my account today. I had several bill pays sent out today which let me into negative. My payroll check will be given to me today and ill deposit this check immediately to cover the funds. Will the funds be returned back to TD bank?

We appreciate having you join us at TD Helps, Michael! We'd be happy to help!
If you have written an actual paper check to a third party and there were insufficient funds for it when it was presented to your account, there is a possibility it could be returned the day after it is presented.
If this happens, a copy of the returned check will then be mailed to the depositor (your payee) and they will have the option to re-deposit the check if they wish. While TD Bank will not send this through on their behalf, your payee can attempt to deposit the check again once they receive it. Keep in mind that they can deposit this item again anytime, so we recommend placing funds in the account as soon as possible.
If this check payment was made electronically from your account, or you wrote the check payable to a company, we suggest that you get in touch with them directly to determine their policies for returned items and for collecting the funds. Many companies will submit a payment again up to three times in an attempt to collect the funds due. Again, TD Bank would not submit this on their behalf.
Please note that if you made a payment using TD Bank Bill Pay and this item was returned, that payment will be automatically attempted again. We recommend that you get in touch with us 24/7 at 800-493-7562 so we can review the bill pay item for you and let you know how many more attempts might be made and when.
We hope the information provided helps. Let us know if you have any further questions and have a great day.
