As the receiving end of an official check, can the check be deposited as a check by phone by using the account number and routing number listed on the the official check to deposit, instead of physically depositing the paper check into the account.

If you have enrolled in Mobile Deposit by accepting the Mobile Deposit Terms and Conditions you may deposit any check using the mobile app.
The checks (including Official Checks and Money Orders) that you deposit using this service must be made payable to an owner of the account. You cannot use Mobile Deposit for the following transactions:
• Checks that are not payable to an owner of the account (i.e., third party checks)
• Checks that have already been deposited
• Foreign checks (drawn on a bank that is located outside of the United States and/or not payable in US dollars)
• Checks written on an account on which the Customer is an owner or authorized signer
