My husband and I opened a safe deposit box many years ago and haven't been billed for years. We were never contacted and just found our keys. Would our items still be available somehow?

Welcome to TD Helps, Lauren, and thanks for your question.
We're sorry for any inconvenience with your safe deposit box, and we'll be happy to guide you in the right direction.
As we do not have access to your account information via TD Helps, we strongly encourage you to visit the Store in which your Safe Deposit Box was located. Since you mentioned that you have found the keys, please be sure to bring those in with you. You may find the Store hours by clicking this link: https://go.td.com/1nq31dc.
Based on the information you provided, it's possible that your Safe Deposit Box may have become dormant. If a Safe Deposit Box becomes dormant, there is a possibility that the contents could have been transferred to the State as abandoned property. However, when you visit we'll be glad to look into this further to see what may have happened with the box and your items, and offer our advice.
We hope this information helps, Lauren! We'll see you at the Store soon.
