If your account is closed and you are expecting a refund, there are two options available on how to obtain these funds.
If you have another active Checking or Savings account with TD Bank, the credit will be transferred to that account. We'd like to inform you that when a merchant processes a refund to your ATM/Visa debit or credit card, it usually takes 3-5 business days to be credited. There are times when the funds may take longer to be credited to your account as the refund is based on when we receive notice from the merchant.
However; if you do not have any active accounts with TD Bank, that is okay! TD Bank will send a check with the amount of the refund to the address we have on file for you. In addition to the 3-5 business days for a merchant refund, please allow 7-10 business days for mailing. Please be aware that delays may occur depending on your Postal Office.
