One of my bill payments overdrew my savings account by 40 cents. Will the item be paid and will an overdraft fee be charged?

Good afternoon, Nikki! Thank for reaching out to us.
Typically speaking, we do not allow savings accounts to become overdrawn. But if this transaction has posted to your account, it was likely paid as a courtesy. We'd be happy to confirm this for you. Please give us a call 24/7 at 888-751-9000 or stop in to see us at any of our Stores. To find one near you, please click here: https://go.td.com/1nq31dc. We should be able to confirm whether or not this payment was approved.
With regard to your question about an overdraft fee; we have good news! If this transaction only left the account overdrawn by $0.40, you should not be assessed an overdraft fee. TD Bank does not charge an overdraft fee if the total overdrawn balance is below $5.00.
We hope this info helps, Nikki. Looking forward to hearing from you soon!
