Welcome to TD Helps, Claudia.
Although once an account is closed, you will not have access to that account via Online Banking; we are happy to inform you that TD Bank retains seven years of history for accounts in our records and would be glad to provide options on how to obtain information on your closed account.
If you still have an active account with TD Bank and you may wish to log onto your Online Banking to send us a secure message with your request. To send a secure message you must first logon to your TD Bank online profile. You can do so by clicking here: http://bit.ly/1eaISlq. On the left hand side, you should see an option to "Send a secure message" located in the “Message Center." Please be sure to include the account number along with details of your request.
If you don't have an Online Banking account yet for your active account(s), no worries! You'll be happy to know that signing up for TD Bank Online is quick and easy. If you have an ATM/Debit Card and a US Social Security number, you can use our enrollment self-service link at: http://bit.ly/1lU2qfY to sign up. Once there, you will need to choose Personal from the drop down box and complete three steps. First, you'll have to accept the Online Banking Agreement. Then, we'll ask you to enter in your personal information (Name, Social Security number, account number, etc.) and finally, you will have to set up three security questions. After those 3 steps are completed, you will have immediate access to your account(s) online. If you need assistance, please feel free to connect with us at 888-751-9000 and we'd be happy to help after account verification. We can also help with your request!
However, if you do not have any other active accounts with us, you may request statements by stopping by any local TD Bank Store, during lobby hours. Any one of our dedicated Customer Service Specialists would be able to assist and may possibly provide you with the statement copies during your visit. We recommend contacting the TD Bank Store prior to your visit, to find a TD Bank near you, check out: http://bit.ly/TDStores.
Once your request has been submitted, you should then expect to receive the copies in approximately 7 to 10 business days.
Please note; Depending on the type of statement copy you are looking for, additional fees may apply. For more information, please refer to your Account Guide and the current Personal Fee Schedule here: http://bit.ly/1cTejgt (located under “copies”).
We hope this helps. Have a good one and let us know if we can help with anything else.
