For the quickest answer, search previously asked questions below. Chances are, others have asked a similar question and there's already an answer waiting for you. If you can't find a match, ask a new question and our team members will answer.
I signed up for online banking a few months ago. Suddenly I am being asked for my pet's name as a security question ~ I don't remember choosing one ~ and it won't accept my answer. Can I reset the question and answer?

We're glad you reached out to us. Welcome to the TD Helps community!
Sorry to hear you had a bit of trouble with a security question. We do require security questions with our Online Banking and we will pose a question randomly for this reason, or when you change your login device.
Since you said that it won't accept your answer, we assume you can't log in right now. No worries, though - a member of our Banking Team can assist with changing or deleting your security questions and logging you into your account upon proper account verification. You can reach a Specialist by calling 888-751-9000, 24/7. If you would prefer, you can also visit a local TD Bank Store. For lobby hours and locations near you, check out: http://bit.ly/TDStores.
Just in case you determine the answer to the question and get logged in, you can update your security questions and answers by following the instructions below:
-After logging on to TD Bank On-Line with your User Name and Password, click on the “Customer Service” tab
-Under “Self Service," click on “Change Security Questions/Answers”
-Next to the question you wish to update or change, click on “Change”
-Follow the instructions on the screen and click “Update” when your changes are complete.
It may be helpful to know that answers to your security questions are not case-sensitive; however they do require the answer you originally provided for the question. For example, if you originally answered "New York City" to the question "In what city were you born?", then you must provide "New York City" as the answer each time when your are being challenged with this question, not "New York" or "NYC." For security question tips and other helpful hints for answering your security questions, you can visit: http://bit.ly/1ikiYdw.
Hope this provides the help you need, Donna.
All the best and have a great week!
