In reply to PHIL, DAEJEON
Good morning and welcome to TD Helps, Phil.
We apologize for any inconvenience; however, in order to initiate an international wire transfer, you would need to visit a TD Store in person. You mentioned you are currently in South Korea, once you are back within the TD footprint, which is Maine to Florida, you may visit any TD Store during lobby hours to request a wire transfer. For a listing of TD Bank Stores and hours, please visit: http://bit.ly/TDStores.
If you happen to have a joint account owner on your TD account that lives near a TD Bank Store location, you may have them wire the funds into your foreign account. If you do not have a joint account owner, you may issue a TD check to your bank in South Korea to make the deposit. We also encourage you to reach out the bank in South Korea for other possible options.
If you have any additional questions or concerns, please feel free to contact us 24/7 by telephone. If you are calling from South Korea, please dial direct 1-856-751-9000 or collect with operator assistance from a land line phone by asking the operator to dial 1-215-569-0518 if you are able to gain access to a land line phone.
Thanks again for writing in. Have a great one, Phil!
