We appreciate your coming to TD Helps, Dan. Thanks for considering TD Bank! We'd be happy to help.
As you mentioned you're a Non-U.S. Citizen, you may open an account(s) with us by visiting one of our TD Bank Store locations when you travel into the U.S. We have Stores all along the East Coast spanning from Maine to Florida and you can find the nearest location to where you'll be with our handy Store locator: http://bit.ly/TDStores.
We invite you to review our TD Bank U.S. Checking account options here: http://bit.ly/1oXjGgF, or use our Checking Selector at http://bit.ly/1vW1xnU. And our Savings products are listed here: http://bit.ly/1hzzhPT, or use our Savings Selector at http://bit.ly/1sxY9Rd.
Once you have decided on the account(s) you'd like to open, to set up your new account you will need to bring two forms of identification with you – one must be your Non-U.S. Passport and the second you may choose from the following list:
- Employment ID with Photo and Signature
- State Issued ID or Driver's License with Signature
- Foreign Driver's License with Photo
- US Employment Authorization card with Photo, Signature, and Expiration Date
- Student ID with Photo
- Alien Registration Card with Photo
- Permanent Resident Card with Photo
Prior to your visit, we also encourage you to connect directly with the TD Store you'll be visiting to determine if any other documents are needed at the time of your visit.
