I want to open a new account at TD bank with personal check from other bank? is that possible or I need other form of cash?

You'll be happy to know that when making your initial deposit after account opening, it can be a personal check!

Once you're decided on the account you'd like to open, you are able to bring your check, a valid photo I.D. (Driver's License, State issued photo I.D., Passport etc.) and your Social Security Number to a TD Store near you! To take a look at TD Stores near you and their hours please visit http://bit.ly/TDStores.
Please know that you are also able to open your account over the phone 24/7 by dialing 888-751-9000 or by selecting "Open Account" beneath the product of your choosing. Once opened, you will be able to deposit your personal check at any TD Store.
