I`m moving to Boca Raton-FL in two weeks. I`m Brazilian and don`t have SSN, just my passport, and F1 VISA. Can I open an account from overseas to start transferring money prior my arrival in the US?

Thanks for your interest in an account with TD, Felipe! We'd be happy to help!
In order to open an account with us, you will need to visit us at a TD Bank Store. We apologize for any inconvenience. To take a look at Store locations and their hours please visit http://go.td.com/1f9DSJR.
We recommend taking a look at the accounts we have to offer. You are able to take a look at checking accounts here: https://go.td.com/2eQORxu and savings accounts here: https://go.td.com/2dIcnAw.
If you're having trouble choosing an account, you are able to receive a custom recommendation here: https://go.td.com/2sx4N2E.
Once you are ready to visit a Store, as a Non-US resident you will need to bring two forms of identification with you. One form of ID must be a Non-US passport and the second form of ID you may select from the list below:
- Employment ID with Photo and Signature
- State Issued ID or Driver's License with Signature
- Foreign Driver's License with Photo
- US Employment Authorization card with Photo, Signature and Expiration Date
- College ID with Photo
- Alien Registration Card with Photo
- Permanent Resident Card with Photo
We also recommend reaching out to the TD Store you plan on visiting prior to your trip to determine if any additional information will be necessary to open an account.
We look forward to your visit, Felipe, and thanks for choosing TD!
