Good afternoon, Tom.
It's great to hear that you're interested in opening a Business account with us and joining the TD family. We'll be more than happy to help.
We'd first like to take an opportunity to apologize for any inconvenience as, at this time, while you are able to view the different types of Business accounts that we offer online, you will have to visit a TD Store location in person to open the account.
If you'd like, you're welcome to take a look here: https://go.td.com/1lWgAhe to view the different types of Business accounts we offer. As a feature on our webpage, TD Bank can also help by recommending an account for your needs with the Business Checking Selector Tool found here: https://go.td.com/2qddtcK. If you have any questions while reviewing these options, a Small Business Specialists would be happy to assist you over the telephone, and can be reached by simply dialing 1-800-493-7562, option 2
Once you've found the account you'd like to open, it will be required for you and any signers you may wish to add to your new account to stop into a TD location to complete the opening process. During your visit, please be sure to have a valid photo ID (Driver's License, Passport, Military ID, etc.) as well as your Social Security number handy, as these will be needed to complete the account opening process.
As you mention that you are not currently in the United States, for a non-resident aliens opening a business account, you will need two valid forms of ID, and a W-8Ben must be completed during the account opening process. Be sure to bring the Tax Identification number for your business. To find a TD Store location near you, please visit, http://go.td.com/1f9DSJR.
Depending on the type of business you have, additional documents may be required at the time of account opening, and we encourage you to connect with your preferred Store before visiting to ensure that you'll have everything needed.
We hope this answers any questions you may have, Tom. Thanks for stopping by, and have a great weekend!
