Hey, Xiaomei! Welcome to TD Helps and thank you for considering a new account with TD Bank!
We offer many types of Savings Accounts that can fit your needs. We recommend taking a look at http://bit.ly/1hzzhPT for more detailed information on each particular Savings Account available at TD Bank. You may find it helpful to check out our customized Savings Selector tool, found here: http://bit.ly/1sxY9Rd.
Once you have decided the type of Savings account you wish to open, you may visit www.tdbank.com or click here: http://bit.ly/1fN7u4i to take you directly to the account opening application. You may also feel free to call us directly 24/7 at (888) 751-9000 with any questions you may have and set up your new account via telephone.
As always, you are welcome to stop by your nearest TD Bank Store to speak with a Banking Specialist regarding new account options to determine what product type fits you the best. To find a TD Store location near you, please visit, http://bit.ly/TDStores.
If you have already opened the account with TD, when making check deposits with a Teller, the first $100.00 is made available immediately. If your account has not been open for 30 consecutive days, check deposits can be held up to 7 business days for verification purposes. After this grace period, not only will the first $100.00 be made available at the time of deposit but the rest of the funds will credit to your account the following business day. When you deposit cash, funds will be made available immediately.
You may also take a look at our Personal Deposit Account Agreement here: http://bit.ly/1kb17UQ. On pages 35-37 you can find our Funds Availability Policy along with information about when you'll have access to deposits.
We hope this information helps, Xiaomei. Visit us again anytime.
