Thanks for connecting with us here at TD Helps, Timothy. Thanks for considering TD Bank, we'd be glad to help.
At this time, TD Business accounts must be opened at a TD Store during lobby hours and cannot be opened online. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.
We invite you to take a look here: http://bit.ly/1lWgAhe to view the different types of Business accounts we offer. As a feature on our webpage, TD Bank can also help by recommending an account for your needs with the Business Checking Selector Tool found here: http://bit.ly/1lGeYmw. If you have any questions while reviewing these options, a Business Banking Specialist would be happy to assist you over the telephone. You can reach them by dialing 855-278-8988.
Once you've found the account you'd like to open, all signers must be present at the time of account opening. You will need to bring the following with you: a valid photo ID (Driver's License, Passport, Military ID, etc.) and your Social Security number. For a non-resident aliens opening a business account, you will need two valid forms of ID and a W-8Ben must be completed during the account opening process. Be sure to bring the Tax Identification number for your business. To find a TD Store location near you, please visit, http://bit.ly/TDStores.
Depending on the type of business you have, additional documents may be required at the time of account opening and we encourage you to call you preferred Store before visiting to ensure that you'll have everything needed.
Noticing your location, we'd like to mention that you’ve connected with TD Bank here in the States. If you are looking to open a Business account over at TD Canada Trust, we invite you to check out: http://bit.ly/1Akihhc for more details regarding your inquiry. We also invite you to check out: http://bit.ly/1vlK72L for information on what is needed to open a Business account. If you have any other questions, feel free to stop by their TD Helps page here: http://bit.ly/1qHQQns.
We hope this helps, Timothy. Have a great day!
