Hi Rory, welcome to TD Helps and the TD Bank family! We're glad to have you and are more than happy to help.
If you applied for your new TD Bank account online and requested a new debit card during account opening, you should expect to receive your card by mail at the address you provided within 7 to 10 business days. Please note delays may occur depending on your postal office.
If you would prefer to have your new debit card immediately, you may obtain one by visiting any TD Bank Store nearby you. To find your closest TD Store location, please visit http://bit.ly/TDStores. All TD Banks have an instant issue machine where you can obtain a new card, seven days a week, and you'll be able to leave with a card in hand! Once at the Store, if you did order a debit card online that is currently being mailed, please ask the Store representative to close it since it will no longer be useful once you activate the card you will receive at the Store.
And you'll be glad to know that even without your debit card, you're able to enroll your account in Online Banking right away! We welcome you to contact our Digital Team 24/7 at 800-493-7562 to speak with a Digital Specialist. Upon proper account verification, we would be happy to get your online account up and running during your call.
We hope this is great information, Rory! We appreciate your business and let us know of any other questions. Have a great one!
