Hi there, I have recently engaged an agency which helps non-US citizens to incorporate accounts and set up bank accounts. They have informed me that my business bank account will be with TD. Is it possible for them to do so just by requesting for my passport, ID, proof of home address, other relevant documents? Thank you!

Thank you for your interest in a business account with TD, Kelvin. We'd be glad to help.
In order to open a business account, the account signer(s) must visit a TD Bank Store and be present for the account opening process along with the following documents: a valid photo I.D. (Driver's License, Passport, Military I.D. etc.) and Social Security Number. For a non-resident aliens opening a business account, you will need two valid forms of ID and a W-8Ben must be completed during the account opening process. Also, be sure to bring the Tax Identification number for your business. To take a look at TD Stores you would like to visit please click here: http://bit.ly/TDStores.

Thank you for your reply, Megan! If my registered company is in Delaware, do I have to visit a TD bank in Delaware to open a business account? Can I open the account in say, New York or Philadelphia?

I have decided to open a simple checking business account. As I am a non-US citizen, I understand there is a need to bring two valid forms of ID. Are there any relevant documents, other than corporate documents/EIN/TIN, needed as well?
For eg. Proof of my home residence (Credit Card bill), Letter of Financial Standing from bank, etc.
