I am non US resident. I would like to open a personal current account remotely with your Bank. Could you please name list of documents required.
Do you send debit cards and documents outside the US, or only US address required?
Also, does your debit cards work in Europe (for payments and for withdrawals)?
Is ITIN number required for account opening? If yes, would you email me a letter, confirming my intention to open the bank account with you, so that I can apply for ITIN?

Thanks for your interest in an account with TD, Victor. We'd be glad to help.
In order to open an account with us, you will need to visit us at a TD Bank Store. To take a look at Store locations and their hours please visit http://go.td.com/1f9DSJR.
We offer many different types of checking and savings accounts. To view and compare our checking accounts, visit https://go.td.com/1aDaRqd or check out our Checking Selector Tool https://go.td.com/1vW1xnU for help with selecting a checking account.
To view and compare savings account products, click on https://go.td.com/1pJT9I9, or if you prefer, we also have a Savings Selector Tool https://go.td.com/1vW1DvM which can help you choose the best savings account for your needs.
Once you are ready to visit a Store, as a Non-US resident you will need to bring two forms of identification with you. One form of ID must be a Non-US passport and the second form of ID you may select from the list below:
- Employment ID with Photo and Signature
- State Issued ID or Driver's License with Signature
- Foreign Driver's License with Photo
- US Employment Authorization card with Photo, Signature and Expiration Date
- College ID with Photo
- Alien Registration Card with Photo
- Permanent Resident Card with Photo
We also recommend reaching out to the TD Store you plan on visiting prior to your trip to determine if any additional documents are required.
In regard to a debit card with your account, all TD cards are accepted anywhere Visa is worldwide.
We hope to see you soon, Victor. Have a good day.

How many days it will take to open the account?
How much time it takes to produce a debit card (I plan to visit the US for 4-5 days, will I manage to obtain the card for this period of time)?
Can you send this debit card to non-US address, and can other person get the card instead of me under the letter of attorney?
Will I need ITIN to use internet-bank and other bank services or it’s not needed?

Thanks for getting back to us, Victor.
If you are able to provide all required document during your visit to our Store location, you may be able to set up your new account, obtain a TD Visa debit card and even enroll in online banking during your visit. However, we highly recommend contacting the TD Store you will be visiting to open the account in advance to confirm the list of the required documents which you will need to bring with you.
Thanks again for stopping by, Victor. Enjoy your weekend!
