I'm a Canadian and I want to open an account on TDBank.com. Problem is, on my passport, my name is spelt like "First Name Lastname" while on every other document including my SIN it is spelt "Firstname Lastname". Would I be able to use the second spelling without any problems?

Thank you for your interest in TD Bank for your banking needs! We'd be happy to help.
During the account opening online, we do verify the information submitted. That being said, the differences in the documentation you have may prevent you from opening the account online. If this occurs, you have the option of calling us directly to open your account. You may do so 24/7 by dialing 877-700-2913 and speaking to our Cross Border Specialists.

We hope this helps and if you have any further questions please let us know.
