Hi, I am a non US resident (living abroad) and I own a Delaware LLC. I am now looking to open a company bank account. I will visit NYC soon and would like to open the account there. Is it possible to open the account in NYC (which means out of state)? If yes, what documents shall I prepare? Thanks!

You are able to view the different types of Business accounts that we offer online; however, at this time you will have to visit a TD Store in person to open the account.

Once you've found the account you'd like to open, it will be required for you and all signers to stop into a TD location to complete the opening process. You will need to bring the following with you: a valid photo ID (Driver's License, Passport, Military ID, etc.) and your Social Security Number. For a non-resident aliens opening a business account, you will need two valid forms of ID and a W-8Ben must be completed during the account opening process. Depending on the type of business you have, additional documents may be required at the time of account opening and we encourage you to call you preferred Store before visiting to ensure that you'll have everything needed.
