I bank with Bank of America, but have a joint bank account with TD Bank with a family member. I sent a large money transfer to the joint TD Bank account a few days ago, but the money was transferred to an old personal account I used to have with TD bank. Now I have no idea where the large sum of money has gone, but it has already been transferred out of my Bank of America account. Please help!!

It is a pleasure to have you here on TD Helps, Naida.
TD Bank may a return a direct deposit or electronic transfer to the sender within one business day of receiving the deposit if your account is closed. We recommend allowing 2-3 business days for receipt at the originating bank once they have been sent back. To determine the status of your funds, we recommend contacting Bank of America to ensure they have received them, and to provide them with the account information of which you would like your transfer to go into successfully.
For any questions you may have, feel free to give us a call. We're available 24/7 for you and we can be reached at 888-751-9000. Or you can stop in at any of our convenient Store locations found here: http://bit.ly/TDStores.
Hope this helps answer your question, Naida.
