hi i have a checking account with you guys. in this very moment i am in my country(Colombia), so i would like to know if i can i use my debit card being here, and if it is. what i have to do?

When looking to use your TD Bank Debit Card for purchases outside of the United States, we have great news, as not only will you be able to successfully do so, but you can also make ATM withdrawals from any machine that displays a MasterCard, Cirrus, VISA or PLUS logo!
Generally speaking, TD Bank does not charge foreign transactions fees; however, non-TD ATM Fees may be assessed when performing withdrawals from non TD ATMs. In the unfortunate event that you're unable to find an ATM that is compatible, you may also use your Debit Card to obtain a VISA Cash Advance.

We'd also like to recommend, as you are traveling outside of the United States, that you place a travel notification on your account to avoid any possible acceptance issues. To do so, you're welcome to connect with us directly, and we'll be happy to notate your account!
You may first give a Banking Specialist a call at 1-856-751-9000, toll free. For your convenience, they are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, or you also send a secure message. To do so, you will first want to log into your TD Bank online profile by clicking here: https://go.td.com/1eaISlq. Once you've successfully logged in, look for the 'Message Center' on the left hand side and select 'Send a secure message'.
If you have downloaded our mobile banking app for your smartphone, you may also use this method to send a secure message. From your Mobile Banking, log in and select 'Send a Secure Message' from the side Menu. We generally respond within 24 hours or less.
