Hello, I am from Italy. I visited a language school in Miami from January to April 2014. Months after I left Miami I remembered that I forget to close the account and when I called to close it I was told to have an overdraft and that the account had been closed already because of that reason. Then, I asked at the phone how to make up to this. I was told that I have to wait the next time I come to the US. So my question is: Is there not anything else I can do? And what other consequences could this overdraft result into?

Thanks for joining us on TD Helps, Amelia.
Since you mentioned that a balance is owed to us for your account, you would need to either visit a TD Bank Store or speak with our Recovery Department to settle it. To speak to our Recovery Department directly you may call 800-354-9769 between the hours of 8am-9pm Monday through Friday, and Saturday 8am-5pm, and we can certainly review your payment options then. Although you are unable to visit a TD Bank location at this moment, you may check out http://bit.ly/TDStores to find a TD Bank near you for the next time you visit.
Hope this helps and have a great day.
