My name is Jutharat Samaipanit. You can call me Golf. I stayed in the U.S for a year. I have a student account.
Now, I backed to my home country (Bangkok, Thailand) for 2 years and I need to close my account while it still has funds (still have money in the account)
I wrote the request letter but I don't know where could I send it to? Could you send me an e-mail address, please?
Could you list all necessary documents/things that you need to me please I'll send it all within an e-mail.

Good morning, Jutharat, and welcome to TD Helps.
We're sorry to hear that you'll be closing your TD Bank account, as we'd hate to lose such a great Customer; however, we completely understand, and will be happy to help.
Based on the information you have provided us with, it sounds as if you may wish to close your account by mail, and if this is the case, you may mail your written, signed, and notarized request to:
TD Bank, N.A.
Your Home Store address
Your Home Store telephone number
Please be sure to provide all account numbers in your letter so we may issue you a check for the remaining funds in your account(s), as well as your final statement.
If you're unsure of what you're Home Store location may be, we invite you to take a look at the link here: http://go.td.com/1f9DSJR for a listing of all our Store locations, as well as their address and contact information.
As you mentioned closing your account by email, you may make a request to close your account by sending us a Secure Message from your Online Banking; however, please know that for an account to be closed using this method, the balance will need to be zero. Once all outstanding checks, ACH debits and debit card transactions have cleared your account, you may perform a funds transfer to remove the funds from the account you wish to close. Once the transfer has posted and both the current and available account balances read zero, you may send us an Secure Message with the account number(s) listed, and a specific request to have the account(s) closed.
If you've never sent a Secure Message before, that's okay, as we'll be happy to guide you through the process. The first thing you'll need to do is log into your Online Banking, which you can do by clicking here: https://go.td.com/1eaISlq. If you haven't yet signed up for Online Banking, click here: https://go.td.com/1lU2qfY to start the process. You will need your account number, debit card number, your Social Security Number, and a valid email address in order to completely this process.
Once you've successfully logged in, look for the 'Message Center' on the left hand side and select 'Send a secure message'. If you have downloaded our mobile banking app for your smartphone, you may also use this method to send a secure message. From your Mobile Banking, log in and select 'Send a Secure Message' from the side Menu. We generally respond within 24 hours or less.
If you have any questions or concerns, you're always welcome to connect with a Banking Specialist, 24/7, by calling 1-888-751-9000. As you mentioned that you are currently in Thailand, you may also call collect, with operator assistance, from any landline phone by asking the operator to dial (215)-569-0518.
Thanks again for stopping by today, Jutharat. Have a great rest of your day!
