Thanks for writing in on TD Helps today, Robert.
When using TD Bank's bill pay service, the funds from the check will only be debited from your account when the biller cashes the check. In this situation, since the biller will not receive this check, it is safe to destroy it.
We suggest updating your biller information to ensure proper delivery of future payments. To do so, log in to your Online Banking and click on the "Bill Pay" tab, then the "Manage your Bills" tab. Next, you will have to select the biller that needs to be updated from the drop down box. Please click the radio button next to "Update biller information." On the next screen, you will have the ability to delete the current address listed and input the correct address for the biller. We suggest using the address that is provided on your bill or invoice, or contact the company for their current mailing address. Once the new information in entered, please click "Save Changes" and then you'll be able to create a new payment to send to this company.
We hope this helps, Robert. Hope you have a wonderful day.
