Not easy to explain. But on my TD App it clearly shows under statements that I owe ~$77 for my credit card. I tap on the statement then press pay. I then pay the $77 with my separate account. However the statement remains. I'm guessing it takes some time for the payment to go through?

If you made a payment from one of your other TD accounts in the form of a transfer or from an outside source, these items may take time to receive.
Because of this, we encourage you to reach a Credit Card Specialist 24/7 at 888-561-8861. Once speaking with them, they would be glad to confirm that your payment was received.
In addition to calling, you can send a secure message. To send a secure message using Online Banking, please sign in here: http://go.td.com/1eaISlq and select 'Send a secure message' located in the 'Message Center' on the left hand side of the page. For Mobile Banking, select the option to 'Contact Us' followed by 'Send a secure message' after signing in.
