It sounds like you may have some questions about pending deposits. We'd be happy to help.
If you've made a cash deposit either in one of our Stores or through the ATM machine, those funds should be fully available to you right away, even while in a pending status.
If you've made a check deposit, the funds may not be immediately available. All check deposits need to go through verification. This generally takes place during overnight processing, making the funds available the following business day. Checks deposited over the weekend may seem to take longer as they are all processed on the next business day, Monday (unless there is a holiday), meaning the funds wouldn't become available until Tuesday.
While most checks deposited prior to 8PM are available the next banking day, there are circumstances when they may be held up to 7 business days. If this is the case, the full dollar amount will be made available once the check is verified. We encourage you to review pages 41 through 44 of the Personal Deposit Account Agreement at https://go.td.com/1kb17UQ for additional info about funds availability.
