My name is De’Aundra. On Friday my AT&T cellphone payment came out, It was $138.98. Now it’s showing as Pending. Why is that?

Pending transactions can be a little confusing, De'Aundra, and we'd be glad to discuss how they work.
The length of time a transaction may remain pending is determined by the transaction type.
Typically, checks and debits using your account/routing information remain pending against your account for the business day and apply at the close of the same business day.
Debit card transactions work differently. When you process a transaction using your debit card and PIN, these items typically remain pending until the close of the business day. Credit transactions processed using Visa can remain pending for up to 3-5 business days depending on when the merchant collects the funds.
We recommend connecting with a Banking Specialist directly to discuss the transaction in greater detail. You can reach a Banking Specialist by calling us 24/7 at 888-751-9000, by visiting any TD Store or by sending a secure message while online.
