Do person to person payments with 3-day delivery always take 3 days? It would not let me choose the next day option but I was hoping the money would transfer earlier than 3 days.

We offer two delivery options when sending a Person-to-Person payment; there is the three business day option and the next business day delivery. Please understand the next day delivery option is not available for savings accounts. To qualify for the next day delivery option, you must wait 90 days from your first successful 3-day transfer and must not have had any transactions that overdrew your account in the past 90 days. If your receiver needs to receive the funds as soon as possible, we recommend visiting your local TD Bank store and initiate a wire transfer. Once at the Store, you will need to provide the name, address and ABA (routing) number of the receiving bank, the name of the account to be credited, the beneficiary address and the account number. Please refer to the same fee schedule provided above for any fees related to this service.
