Need to transfer a sum of money to another TD account (mom). It exceeds the transfer limit. I currently am not in Canada so I can't make an in-person visit to a branch. Is there another option to make the transfer? Is the only way to visit in-person and make a wire transfer?

We appreciate having you join us at TD Helps, Justin. We'd be happy to help!
In order to transfer funds to Canada, you would need to visit a TD Store during lobby hours to complete a Wire Transfer. Feel free to check out: https://go.td.com/1nq31dc for hours and locations near you. We apologize; however, you're unable to send a Person to Person transfer to a TD Canada Trust account.
You will need the full name, address (including City), State/Province, Country and accountnumber of the person/business you are sending money to (for Euro Zone countries – IBAN– International Banking Account Number). Also, you'll need the full name and address, including City, State/Province and Country of the financial institution receiving thefunds, plus, of course, the amount and currency of the transfer.
As exchange rates change, we recommend for you to give us a call 24/7 at 888-751-9000 or contact your local TD Bank Store for this information.
Additionally, please keep in mind that wire transfer fees may apply. For our current Fee Schedule please see here: https://go.td.com/1cTejgt. We would also recommend checking with the other financial institution to obtain information regarding any additional fees for their services.
Have a wonderful day!
