We're sorry to hear that you don't recall your PIN, Lynne. We'd be happy to help you recover this information.
You are welcome to call us 24/7 by dialing 888-751-9000. Once speaking to a Banking Specialist, they are able to send a PIN reminder via mail. PIN reminders can take up to 7-10 business days to arrive to your address depending to your post office.
You are also able to update your PIN at any TD Store during lobby hours. To take a look at TD Stores near you please visit http://bit.ly/TDStores.
You can also send us a secure message via your Online Banking to request a PIN reminder. After logging onto your account, please click on "Send a Secure Message" link, which is located in the left hand corner under "Message Center." You may choose "General Account Inquiry" as the subject and type the message in the "Comments/Requests" section. Once you finish typing, you may click on Send. Also, please allow 7-10 business days for the PIN reminder to be mailed to your address on file.
If you are not currently enrolled for Online Banking and wish to enroll for your personal accounts, you may use our self-service option by visiting http://bit.ly/1lU2qfY to begin the enrollment process. In order to do so, you will need your account number, TD Bank ATM/Debit card, your Social Security number and your email address. Once at the page, please select "Personal" from the drop down box. When you select continue, you will have to read and accept the Online Banking Service Agreement. Then you will be asked to enter your personal information including the items mentioned earlier and to create a user name and password. Finally you will be asked to create three security questions. When you finish the enrollment process, you will have immediate access to your account(s).
If you know your current PIN, then you can reset it anytime 24/7 by calling 888-553-4122. As long as you know your current PIN, you'll be able to follow the prompts and reset your card to a new PIN of your choosing.
You are also able to update your PIN when visiting any TD Bank ATM. Just insert your card into the ATM and enter your current PIN. Choose “Change PIN” as a transaction option and then enter your new PIN selection by following the prompts on the screen. This option only applies if you know your current PIN number.
We hope this helps, Lynne and have a good day!
