Great question, Deb! We're happy to say that you are able to use the Popmoney service to request funds from another financial institution!
To do so, first you will need to be enrolled in Online Banking. If you haven't done so yet please click here to start the enrollment process: http://bit.ly/1lU2qfY. You will need your Social Security number, account number, ATM/debit card number, and your e-mail address. If you have any trouble with the enrollment, please contact our Banking Specialists 24/7 at 888-751-9000. If you prefer, you may also visit your local TD Bank Store for assistance. For a listing of our locations and hours please view: http://bit.ly/TDStores.
Once you are enrolled for Online Banking and logged in you would then select the "Person-to-Person Payments" tab and then select "Request Money." You would then fill out the required fields and select "Next." A confirmation screen will appear. Be sure to confirm the information is correct. Once you do, select "Send Request." The sender will then receive a text or an email with your request for funds. After the person sending you funds completes your request, the funds will take 2-3 business days to reach your account. Please note, that there may be fees for the use of this service. We invite you to take a look at our Fee Schedule here: http://bit.ly/1cTejgt.
If you have any additional questions about this service or anything else, feel free to click reply to submit another question.
We hope this helps and have a wonderful day.
