Thanks for joining us today, William. We'd be happy to assist you.
A power of attorney is an authorization by one person to another person to act on their behalf. Our Customers can designate another person to transact business on their account(s) by executing this.
You can stop in at any TD Bank Store to provide us this paperwork, and we'll be able update the applicable accounts for you. Be sure to bring a valid photo I.D. (Driver's License, passport, State issued photo I.D. etc.) for verification purposes.
We apologize for any inconvenience; however TD Bank no longer provides Power of Attorney documents. When you've obtained the necessary documentation, you're welcome to step in to any of our Stores for assistance. To take a look at TD Stores near you please visit http://bit.ly/TDStores.
If you have any further questions or concerns, feel free to call us 24/7 by dialing 888-751-9000 or by visiting a TD Store during lobby hours.
We hope this helps, William and have a good day.
