I have a power of attorney from my mother which is signed and notarized. I have read on the help forum that the best way to allow me access to her account is by visiting our local branch, but my mother is currently imprisoned and I am currently overseas. How can I be added to her account without visiting a branch in person?

Thanks for your question, Austin. We'd be glad to point you in the right direction.
Please know that in order to update an account, you must visit a TD Store during lobby hours with a valid photo I.D. (Driver's License, Passport, Military I.D. etc.) and any paperwork you may need such as Power of Attorney documents. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.
We recommend reaching out to a TD Store you'd like to visit directly to determine if there are any alternative options available to you. To take a look at TD Stores and their hours please visit http://bit.ly/TDStores.
We hope to hear from you soon, Austin and have a good day.
