Thanks for your question, Rick. We'll cover everything you need to know.
When you have a TD debit card, it is linked to a checking account. You are able to use your checking account and routing numbers to schedule ACH payments from your account. You would simply provide the merchant with this information as well as the payment amount and date to have funds debited.
You're able to locate your account number upon sign in to Online Banking here: http://go.td.com/1eaISlq. If you're using the Mobile Banking App, please sign in and select the account you'd like to view. Next, you will need to visit the Details tab to view your account number in full.
Routing numbers are determined by the state in which an account is opened. For a list of our current routing numbers please take a look here: http://bit.ly/1cmRPoF.
Please know that our prepaid Visa cards found here: https://go.td.com/1OPqOex are ineligible for ACH debits at this time. We apologize for any inconvenience.
If you'd like to discuss this information in greater detail, feel free to reach out to a Banking Specialist 24/7 at 888-751-9000 or visit any TD Store. To take a look at Store locations and their hours please visit http://go.td.com/1f9DSJR.
We hope this clears things up, Rick. Have a great week.
