I looked on my checking account online and it says that I made a $35 purchase that I didn't make. It marked the date as 12/26/17 but the only transaction I made with my card was depositing money. I tried to see if it was a pending transaction but I haven't made a $35 purchase within the last 10 days. How can I get my money back?

Thanks for submitting your question, Safiyyah.
As you mentioned you did not make a purchase, if this debit has been posted to your account, you may file a dispute. To file a dispute, you may contact us 24/7 at 888-751-9000, or visit your local TD Bank Store. To find a location near you and their hours, please visit: http://go.td.com/1f9DSJR. This form will grant us the authority to act as your advocate and research the transaction to request the funds back for you if it does turn out to be an error.
Since the amount is for $35.00 this could also be an overdraft fee assessed. Regardless of the debit, if it was not authorized, we'd like to speak with you directly to review your account further.
Please note that TD Helps is considered an unsecured forum, therefore we do not have access to your account of personal information.
We hope this helps, and that we are able to have tis resolved for you. Safiyyah.
